Why do bad things happen
To people you see as good?
Why do some die an early age,
Yet you thought they never would?
Evil spirits run free on Earth,
Influencing the minds of men;
People kill other people
Or die from accidents they're in.
Sin, like laziness and sloth
Are keys to unlock death’s door;
Spirits walk through this entrance,
And demonic activity is in store.
Words and pleasures invite devils,
As do constant thoughts of fear;
Just as there's keys to the kingdom,
Ungodly things bring evil near.
Moreover, don't blame Me
For what you don’t understand;
I won’t interfere with your choices
Or take free will from man.
People forget there's a devil,
And for protection, you must pray;
Pleading Jesus’ blood over you
Will keep the devil away.
And why do you have tribulation?
I never said you would not;
Read the life of Joseph, David, and Paul...
They were troubled, but they fought.
Their reward are no comparison
To temporary pain they went through;
What matters is I’ve overcome the world...
Not why bad things happen to you.
