Sowing And Reaping
Notice how Jesus talked.
He spoke in authority;
The power in the tongue is this:
It creates what you want to be.
When you give to church,
Tell your seed to grow;
Say what you're believing for.
Name the seeds you sow.
When farmers want food to eat,
They plant seeds of their choice;
This method calls in the harvest,
But with you - you have your voice.
Next time, give your seed a name,
And plant it in good ground;
Find soil that preaches the gospel.
You'll reap all year round.
Don't forget, it takes time.
Words are sunshine, and faith is rain;
While it grows, don't give up
Or you'll lose what you've gained.
Be careful what you say.
Negative words are like weeds;
That kills your crop, and curse your life.
Words are even seeds.
Jesus taught us how to live,
To just believe, and not doubt;
We reap what we sow,
But it takes a lifetime to figure it out.
