Sowing And Reaping
When you read the words of Jesus,
Notice, He spoke in authority;
The power in the tongue is this:
It creates all you want to be.
When you give an offering at your church,
Do you tell that seed to grow?
Do you say what you're believing for?
Let Me guess, your answer's 'no.'
When a farmer desires food to eat,
He plants seeds of his choice;
This method calls in his harvest,
But with you, you have your voice.
Next time, give your seed a name,
And plant it in good ground;
Find soil that preaches the gospel.
You'll reap a harvest all year round.
Don't forget that it takes time.
Words are sunshine, and faith is rain;
While it's growing, don't give up...
You'll lose everything you've gained.
Take heed, and control your tongue.
Negative words are the same as weeds;
It'll kill your crop, and curse your life.
Words of your mouth are even seeds.
Study how Jesus talked.
He didn't speak negative or with doubt;
You'll always reap what you sow,
But it takes a lifetime to figure that out.
