I Talk To All Of You
I talk to all My children,
But I don't speak the same way;
Different ages and personalities
Will change what I say.
To a child who’s sensitive and quiet,
I speak in a calm, gentle tone;
To an adult, I speak in a manner
With more emotion, because they’re grown.
I reveal My sense of humor
To whose hearts delight in fun;
I love to laugh with My children...
Better to find one smile than none.
However you speak - I speak.
This is how I connect with you;
My voice will always be My own,
But I’ll talk in a way you do.
As a father talks to one of his children
Different from the rest;
And as friends do - they talk the same...
This is how you hear Me best.
