I Am a merciful God...
Quick to forgive the one who sinned;
I Am patient with people.
I give them time to repent again.


Some believe I’m strict...
Severe punishment for breaking Laws;
But I Am love.
I freely give My grace to all.


I Am just, and I must judge,
But I paid, that you might win;
Your penalty cost My Son’s life
So in My Kingdom, you enter in.


I love the sinner, not the sin.
I discipline those who do;
As a Father, I chasten My child,
But don’t do it because I want to.


A Father loves his son.
He must always help him learn;
If He sees him in the wrong direction,
He’ll teach him which way to turn.


Therefore, please don't think I’m mean...
A God who’s harsh or unkind;
There’s a war against Satan...
I want to fight for who are Mine.


Those who seek My face,
And follow after My heart;
Knows how much I love you all,
And how sin tears Me apart.
